The Narwhal’s BIPOC Photojournalism Fellowship
This fellowship is made possible by the generosity of The Narwhal’s readers. You can support us here.
The Narwhal frequently reports on stories that deeply impact the lives of Indigenous and racialized communities across Canada, especially as many of these communities grapple with the ongoing pressures of natural resource extraction and environmental racism. Yet, too often these stories aren’t told by Indigenous or racialized journalists. The Narwhal’s BIPOC Photojournalism Fellowship was designed to help change that.
